Snowboard Colorado

Snowboarding Colorado

Snowboarding Colorado is the best in the west. Accessibility from Denver’s international airport or driving west from Denver are six of the best resorts in Colorado and all within an hour to two hours directly off of I-70.

Snowboarding Colorado begins with exiting I-70 in Silverthorne from the exit head south up to the keystone resort just a short 10 minute drive there you will find:

At 11,640 feet, Dercum Mountain is all about green and blue runs and groomed runs to keep you cruising all day. Dercum is perfect for beginners and intermediate skiers and snowboarders. For the more advanced is A51 Terrain Park that invites you to show off your skills. Named top-ranked parks by Freeskier and Transworld Magazines, this is the place to be for shredders and jibbers. Want tree riding , you can access The Windows. –Above the green and blue runs, you’ll find Bergman, Erikson and Independence Bowls – the perfect opportunity for guided CAT skiing or riding tours. And, you can take a Mountain-Top Snowcat Tour from the top of Dercum to Independence Bowl for a breathtaking adventure.

AT 11,660 feet, North Peak is the place for skiers and riders that love long trails full of bumps. There is a variety of blue intermediate and black expert runs,The Outback is our tallest mountain, it peaks at 11,980 feet. Blue intermediate and black expert skiers and riders will find plenty of long, groomed runs, powder and bumps. As a bonus, there is some of Colorado’s best tree skiing in the North and South Bowls. Show your skills at Keystone’s A51 Terrain Park – named one of the best in North America. Take a dedicated chair lift to the park and spend the day on rails, jumps, jibs, in the pipe and more. There are features for every ability. The park is well groomed and always changing. And, it’s Colorado’s only night park.

Further up the road is Arapahoe Basin or A-basin known as the legend.

This 70-year legend has some of the highest skiable terrain in North America. 50% of the mountain is above tree line with open bowl skiing and snowboarding through the spring and into early summer.
